Friday has become a quiet festival. Had a discussion on house revamp. Contacted Natalia, a pet sitter but unfortunately couldn’t book. Some intense search for the perfect caretaker of Izzy while I am away.
Got a call from boss. Think I handled it well. The smile at the beginning seems to work well. Doesn’t it with everyone? And commitment to work, of course.
Peel. People are out and about. Coffee in front of Stradigi was nostalgic. Aimless wandering at Eaton. Hotstar was great. Again the smile worked. In general though I keep myself away from the crowd.
Norm Macdonald. He’s guaranteed to make me burst in laughter. Got to be in my top 3 list alongside George Carlin and Bill Burr. Why not Dave Chappelle, or CK Louis, Jerry Seinfeld, Ricky Gervais? I don’t know really. Among all of these great comedians, Norm and Bill are probably ahead in terms of natural, unscripted delivery.
Thought I’d start this notebook. Let’s see how it goes.
