Photo of a moving local bus taken in Dhaka, from the back seat of another bus.
Although this one is the worst of it’s kind ruling the busy streets, huge number of local buses remain a major transport to move within the city. Yet, the people are to be convinced that the government has set a sight onto facilitate this system. Students, workers rely on them more or less. Everybody has to move and move fast. There’s just not enough time for us start again and make this an issue. Everybody seems to have silently accepted all of the troubles just like that.
So what’s me doing there? Whenever I get to ride on of these, I like to put my headphones on and observe. These are my compatriots. They are part of us in this box with wheels – we the people. It makes me realize how we can be together and and also be so unknown to each other. We just want to get there, as soon as possible.
