Busy week, or was it?
Izzy’s acne under his chin looks better now. It seems he lost some hair there. The shampoo seems to work. On the other hand, he has his own adventure in the backyard. Who knows which organisms he contacts. I’ve got to let him be a little wild, let an animal be an animal. I do feel for a few unfortunate mice, especially the last one. Poor Jerry. Izzy is cute to me, but he’s as brutal as any other apex predator. As a human being it’s all very cathartic. Nature knows no ethics.
Everyone has their own demands, and I can’t please everyone. In fact, I can’t please myself. That’s okay. The key is the present.

Football Soccer Saturday! It was intense, even for myself. Another season drawing its conclusion. We got a vital win Bournemouth to secure CL spot. 1 point needed from 2 remaining games.
Abbu call. So far so good. I wish I had his patience though.
Veridis Quo by Daft Punk – electronica at its best. Probably my top track in the last 6 months.
Nice day outside. I continue to love my lumberjack, and minding my own stroll. This is why I love Montreal – not many people so you can comfortably not give any fuck, unless of course, someone needs help.

Friday is a quiet festival. Texts brighten up the day. Discussion on house revamp for our soon to be in laws. Contacted Natalia, a pet sitter but unfortunately the schedule didn’t work. Some intense search for the perfect caretaker of Izzy while I am away.
Got a call from the boss. Think I handled it well. The smile at the beginning seems to work well. Doesn’t it with everyone? And commitment to work, always. I will mow the lawn. I work with people, for money and self-respect.
Peel. People are out and about. Coffee in front of Stradigi was nostalgic. Aimless wandering at Eaton. Hotstar was great. Again the smile worked. In general though I keep my stance to dislike the crowd.
Norm MacDonald. He’s guaranteed to make me burst in laughter. Got to be in my top 3 list alongside George Carlin and Bill Burr. Why not Dave Chappelle, or CK Louis, Jerry Seinfeld, Ricky Gervais? I don’t know really. Among all of these great comedians, Norm and Bill are probably ahead in terms of natural, unscripted delivery.
Shared some selfies. Trying to be less private. FIFA, dynasty of my dreams. Becoming an expert in ornaments for men AND women. Carat Weight…Jesus.
Thought I’d start this notebook. Let’s see how it goes.
